Getac V110 Convertible Specs

Getac V110 is a fully rugged convertible that combines durability and lightweight. IP65 certification proves its dust and waterproof. It has passed MIL-STD 810G military standard and also MIL-STD 461F ready. The convertible also resists against drop and vibration. The allowed storage temperature is between -6 to 140 °F, operating storage is -40 to 160 °F, while relative humidity is 95% non-condensing. The chassis is made of magnesium alloy, a strong material which also very light. Areas with less impact are equipped with advanced rugged polymer, while the main contact points protected by rubberized absorption polymer.

Getac V110 features a 88-key full-size water-resistant keyboard. The island-style makes typing more comfortable. The keyboard is also 56 percent larger than its strongest competitor, Toughbook CF-19. You can type in the dark thanks to red backlight which is designed to reduce eyestrain. Below the keyboard is a glide touchpad with multi-touch control.

On connectivity side, standard features include 10/100/1000 MB/s base-T ethernet LAN, Intel Dual Band Wireless AC 7260 802.11ac, and Bluetooth 4.0. Getac also offer SiRFstarIV GPS which is claimed to be two times faster than competitors' embedded GPS and 4G LTE mobile broadband for super fast internet.

There are some accessible ports on the rugged convertible, two USB 3.0 ports, a USB 2.0 port, an RJ45 port, a DC-in jack, an HDMI port, a combo headphone/microphone jack, an RS-232 serial port, and a 24-pin docking connector. Expansions slots on Getac V110 are ExpressCard 54 and SmartCard reader.
